Job summary

Sunway Medical Centre laboratory is seeking a Biomedical Scientist to conduct tests that support detection, diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of disease. You will ensure accurate, timely reporting of results to clinicians and work to maintain high testing standards.

You will perform quality control, maintain equipment, monitor inventory and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. The role also involves contributing to quality improvement and supporting education and research at all

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science, Microbiology, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
• Registered Allied Health Practitioner as per the Allied Health Professions Act requirements.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience.
• Good understanding of laboratory procedures, established protocols, and quality standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work accurately in a laboratory environment.
