Job summary

BD is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Kulim, Kedah site in Malaysia on a 1-year fixed-term contract. You will oversee daily production activities, ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery, and lead a small team to meet performance targets.

The role requires strong leadership, GMP compliance, 5S/Lean experience, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Diploma in Supervisory Management or related field, preferably with medical device background.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, policies, and OSHA regulations.
• Uphold the company's quality standards, business ethics, and policies.
• Lead production activities to meet operational objectives.
• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Monitor WIP inventory and material usage to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
• Lead and support process improvements and lean initiatives.
• Maintain 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles in production areas.
• Foster communication with supervisors, team members, and cross-functional departments.
• Demonstrate leadership by acting as a model for safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
