Job summary

Boston Scientific is recruiting for a production supervisor in Malaysia to oversee shift metrics and ensure timely shipment of products. The role requires coordinating with QA, warehousing, and sterilization teams while maintaining GMP standards.

The ideal candidate has a minimum degree and at least 3 years of production supervision experience, with a proven track record in Lean initiatives and strong leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in any field; preferably Manufacturing, Business Administration, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in production supervision managing 30–40 operators.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proven experience leading manufacturing teams and driving operational excellence.
• Strong understanding of production operations, workforce management, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of all key performance metrics on a shift/project with focus on Core 5 and 9 panel metrics.
• Liaising with warehousing, QA, bulk-packaging and sterilization to ensure prompt shipment of product.
• Maintaining GMP and housekeeping at a high level within the department.
• Cross-functional management of QA, materials, IS and HR support for the team.
• Interacting with other manufacturing teams and Logistics to prioritize backorders.
• Administration duties including Time and Attendance, Holiday planning, Build Plan review and Travel planning.
