Job summary

CCM Chemicals Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a diploma-qualified Mechanical Maintenance Technician to conduct regular maintenance checks, diagnose issues, install and calibrate new equipment, and ensure safety compliance across all mechanical systems.

You will maintain maintenance logs, collaborate with technicians and engineers, manage parts inventory, and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge in maintenance best practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or certificate in related field.
• Experience with maintenance and repairs of mechanical systems.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repairs: Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on mechanical systems, equipment and machinery to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical issues by inspecting, testing and analyzing equipment and machinery. Develop and implement effective solutions to resolve problems.
• Installation and setup: Assist with installation, calibration and commissioning of new machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with operational standards and specifications.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and inspections. Prepare and update maintenance logs and reports as required.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and standards while performing maintenance tasks. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company safety policies and regulations.
• Equipment Upgrades: Recommend and assist with equipment and modifications to improve performance and reliability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians, engineers and maintenance personnel to support ongoing projects and address any mechanical issues that arise.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of mechanical parts and tools, ensuring that necessary materials are available for maintenance tasks.
• Training and Development: Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
