Job summary

Liwo Bina Sdn Bhd is seeking a site supervisor to oversee construction activities onPenang-based projects. The role involves supervising site works, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring progress aligns with specifications.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical background, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with travel across Peninsular Malaysia required.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or equivalent.
• Min. 1 year working experience in the construction industry is an added advantage.
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision.
• Willing to travel outstation within Peninsular Malaysia.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess own transport.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Position based in Penang.

Responsibilities

• Site supervision and arrangement of site works and other activities at the construction site.
• Monitor work progress and sub-contractors to ensure works are carried out on schedule and conformed to specifications.
• Attend meetings and liaise closely with client/consultant as well as local authorities pertaining to the project.
• Ensure discipline and good morale maintained at the construction site.
• Ensure site safety and health requirements are maintained and practiced at all times.
• Ensure quality of work is up to specified requirements.
• Preparation of work progress report and other relevant reports for the project.
• To assist in quantity take up for project tendering process.
• Other related duties as assigned.
