Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality & Parts Inspector to join our Malaysian factory floor in Penang. Fresh graduates are welcome, with up to 3 years' experience in manufacturing or QC preferred.

You will check incoming mechanical parts, read drawings, keep clear inspection records, and support ISO 9001 procedures while maintaining neat documentation and good communication on the line. Good communication and a willingness to learn are essential as you work with the QC Manager and team to uphold

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (SPM or relevant experience can also be considered).
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Soft skills: Good communication, neat documentation habits, willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Check incoming mechanical parts and products to ensure they follow standard guidelines.
• Track rejected, fixed, or scrapped items.
• Write down and keep clear records of all inspection results in check sheets.
• Follow daily quality procedures and SOPs to meet ISO 9001 standards and support ISO audit needs.
• Help check part movement so operations run smoothly and deliveries stay on time.
• Work closely with the QC Manager and team to share updates and improve quality awareness.

Ad-Hoc Tasks: Carry out extra tasks or special projects given by supervisors when needed.

Requirement

Education: Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (SPM or relevant experience can also be considered).

Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome to apply! Candidates with up to 3 years of experience in manufacturing or Quality Control (QC) are preferred.

Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.

Bonus Skills: Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) or problem-solving tools is an added advantage.

Soft Skills: Good communication, neat documentation habits, and a willingness to learn.
