Job summary

TECC SOLUTIONS SDN BHD in Johor Bahru seeks a mid-level Mechanical Project Engineer (Piping, Structure & Static Equipment) to lead technical and commercial lifecycle from bid prep to fabrication and site delivery.

The role requires 3 years of relevant experience in oil & gas piping, structural modules, and strong knowledge of ASME/ AISC standards, with ability to conduct site surveys and prepare precise quotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• ≈3 years of oil and gas piping and structural project engineering experience.
• Familiar with ASME B31.3, ASME Section IX, and AISC standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and commercial lifecycle of piping/structural packages from bid prep to fabrication and site delivery.
• Perform on-site inspections and field surveys across the Southern Region for layout routing and tie-ins.
• Prepare MTOs, engineering man-hour estimates, and final quotations.
• Manage day-to-day workflows, schedules, resources, and fabrication budgets.
• Review piping isometrics, P&ID, layouts, and structural steel to avoid clashes.
• Supervise fabrication, erection, NDT, hydro-testing and punch-list closures.
