Job summary

Bizlink Group in Penang seeks a capable engineer to supervise daily engineering department activities, report KPI metrics weekly and monthly, and support production with process documentation and improvements.

Diploma or higher in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical & Electronic, proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD. Fresh graduates welcome. Mandarin fluency preferred for interaction with Mandarin-speakers.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical & Electronic) or equivalent.
Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Mandarin fluency preferred for interaction with Mandarin-speakers.

Responsibilities

To supervise and lead daily overall engineering department activities.
To report all engineering related KPI(s) and other management assigned KPI(s) weekly and monthly to HOD and corporate.
To support Manufacturing Engineers to prepare documentation.
Process documents improvement.
Prepare process equipment for mass production and provide technical support to Production for process improvement.
Buy-off documentation including customer information and internal documents before mass production.
Machine setup and troubleshooting.
Prepare process flow charts / FMEA / General Standard.
Prepare and study product process balance cycle time.
Develop new jig/fixture fabrication or automation for process improvement.
Identify and develop technical standards for production process.
Train production personnel on skill improvement.
Review and analyze process improvements.
Resolve any product engineering issues in production.
Responsible for preparing and revising engineering changes like ECR/ECN.
Maintain facilities and machinery preventive maintenance.
Any other duties as requested by superior.
Authorized to amend documentation from customer drawings/specifications if incorrect.
Buyoff machine including developing test parameters and specs to verify parts.
Support production on improvement activities to increase productivity and reduce quality failures, including line balancing and foolproof jig/fixture.
Handle new projects, transfer projects & FAI activities.
