Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a fresh graduate for the Assembly and Installation Technician role. You will perform mechanical and electrical assembly under guidance, assemble components, and support installations at customer sites.

You will travel to client sites, learn ISO standards, and work with senior technicians to develop hands-on skills in automation solutions in a growing company.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma/Certificate in Engineering in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical/Mechatronic; fresh graduates accepted.
• 0–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Hands-on skill in mechanical or electrical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Complete mechanical and electrical assemblies under guidance from seniors.
• Assemble and integrate various mechanical and electrical assemblies.
• Verify parts issued against drawings and quantities.
• Follow instructions to complete assembly tasks.
• Ensure parts are defect-free and work area is clean.
• Travel to customer sites for installation, servicing and training.
• Perform on-site customer support as directed.
• Adhere to ISO requirements and company SOPs and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job description

Assembly and Installation Technician (Fresh Graduate)

1. Complete mechanical assembly/electrical assembly with guidance by the senior technician, team leader, supervisor and/or engineering, installation and testing of equipment to time deadlines.

2. Assemble and integrate a variety of mechanical and electrical assemblies.

3. Obtain and verify kitted (pre-picked) details parts and assemblies were issued correctly by comparing partnumbers and quantities to drawing(s).

4. Follow oral/written instructions provided by the senior technician, team leader, supervisor and/or engineering to complete assembly tasks.

5. Ensure that parts issued are free of visible defects.

6. Check work after completion of each operation in job and/or completed job to ensure assembly is complete perdrawing, that there are no defects and that the work area is clean.

7. Travel to customer sites and carry out installation, servicing work and training as scheduled.

8. Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.

9. Perform On Site Customer support assign by the Superior or the management.

10. To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhereto general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines providedby the company.

Requirement

• 1.At least a SPM, Certificate in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical). Fresh graduate of Diploma or higher qualification is accepted.
• 2.0-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• 3.Hands-on skill in mechanical or electrical assembly.
