Job summary

NEXGEN GROUP CONSULTANCY SDN. BHD. is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to plan, design and manage engineering works and tender processes across projects.

The role requires a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a team with independence. Fresh graduates and those with 2–3 years of experience are welcome, with Mandarin language skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; PowerPoint and Excel are advantages.
• Able to work in a team; be proactive, independent.
• Own transport is required.
• Fresh graduates or 2–3 years experience welcome.
• Fluent in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and administer mechanical/electrical works for projects.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER / ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

1. Plan, design and administer contract/project of mechanical and electrical engineering works.

2. Prepare tender documents and tender drawings.

3. Perform tender evaluations and prepare tender evaluation reports.

4. Attend technical and progress meetings with client, architects, consultants and contractors.

5. Manage the projects and identify any non-conformity of contractor’s work at site.

6. Other adhoc duties as assigned.

7. To liaise with local authorities on the submission approval, site inspection, handling over process and obtain clearance letter.

JOB COMPETENCY (QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE):

1. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

2. Proficiency in AutoCAD software, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel is an added advantage.

3. Able to work as a team, assertive, independent and proactive.

4. Possess own transport.

5. Fresh graduates or 2-3 years experience are most welcome to apply.
