Job summary

LAU PROJECT SERVICES SDN BHD is seeking a civil engineering professional to coordinate, supervise and execute project activities, submissions, inspections and quality control for site works in Johor. You will liaise with designers, owners and end-users to ensure alignment with tender specifications and requirements.

The role requires good communication, independent work capability and the ability to handle tight deadlines while preparing draft reports and documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Civil or related).
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 2-3 years of experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise and execute project activities, submissions, inspections and QC for site works.
• Liaise with designer, owner and end-users to meet tender specs.
• Provide timely project updates to stakeholders on strategy and progress.
• Submit and liaise with local authorities; monitor contractor works and site progress.
• Assist senior engineers to plan ahead and avoid delays.

Job description

- Coordinate, supervise and execute project activities, submission, inspection, and control of the quality and installation works of site.
- Liaise with multiple project stakeholders such as designer, owner and end-user to ensure all works are done as per tender specification and requirements.
- Provide timely and consistent project updates to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
- Submission and liaison with local authority
- Manage and monitor contractor works and site progress.
- Assist section head/senior engineers to plan ahead to avoid unnecessary delay
- Other task required from time to time

Requirements:-

- Degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering or other related majors)
- Preferably 2-3 years experience
- Good communication skills – for dealing with project owner and preparation of draft reports
- Able to handle pressure – expectations from project owner to complete tight deadlines and project delivery
- Good management / coordination skills
- Can work independently, resourceful and a fast learner – Most of the time, required to act independently on site and need to learn details of project. Constant preparation of documentations.
- Skills in design software such as AutoCad
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
