Job summary

NEXGEN GROUP CONSULTANCY SDN. BHD. is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Engineer to plan, design and manage engineering works and tender processes across projects.

The role requires a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a team with independence. Fresh graduates and those with 2–3 years of experience are welcome, with Mandarin language skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; PowerPoint and Excel are advantages.
• Able to work in a team; be proactive, independent.
• Own transport is required.
• Fresh graduates or 2–3 years experience welcome.
• Fluent in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and administer mechanical/electrical works for projects.
• Prepare tender documents and drawings.
• Evaluate tenders and prepare evaluation reports.
• Attend technical/progress meetings with clients and others.
• Manage projects and identify non-conformities at site.
• Liaise with local authorities for submissions and clearances.
• Handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
