Job summary

SJ Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of design and site installation experience. The role requires proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM, and a willingness to work on outstation projects in Malaysia.

You will attend client meetings, prepare tender documents and cost estimates, evaluate tenders, review shop drawings, and administer mechanical works contracts. Prior M&E consulting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEM recognized).
• Minimum 2 years in design and site installation for HVAC, fire-fighting, plumbing, lifts, compressed air, BMS, LPG, etc.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, BIM is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Job Specification

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a BEM recognized University.
• A minimum 2 years of the relevant experience in design and site installation of air-conditioning & mechanical ventilation system, fire-fighting system, water plumbing & sanitary system, lift system, compressed air system, building management system, liquified petroleum gas system and etc.
• Knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, BIM and Engineering Design software will be an added advantage.
• Experience in M&E consulting engineering company will be preferred.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Must be willing to work in outstation, whenever required
