Job summary

RAY TECH SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a design-focused R&D engineer to drive mechanical development of X-ray equipment. You will design components, create engineering drawings, and manage BOMs, ensuring robust design and documentation.

You will review designs, support certification activities, and provide hands-on support during assembly and commissioning. The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in non-standard equipment design within 3C or energy sectors and strong CAD skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanics/Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
• At least 3 years of non-standard equipment design experience in 3C, new energy or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and CAD methods.
• Hands-on mechanical design experience and ability to independently develop solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components for X-ray equipment projects.
• Produce drawings and BOMs; ensure document control and archiving.
• Review and verify mechanical designs; support certification and acceptance activities.
• Provide technical support during assembly, installation, and commissioning; troubleshoot as needed.
• Collaborate with Product and Sales teams to translate customer requirements into mechanical solutions.
