Job summary

Hirehub Group in Senai, Johor, is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to design, develop, test and implement mechanical systems, equipment and tooling for production lines.

You will prepare process documentation, train staff, monitor yields and costs, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety, quality and ISO compliance through collaboration with R&D, Production, Quality, Procurement and PMC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Familiar with APQP, FMEA, PPAP, 8D, PDCA and related quality tools.
• Proficient in CAD and strong knowledge of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
• Good problem-solving, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement mechanical systems, equipment and tooling for production.
• Prepare and issue process documents (process flow, work instructions, inspection procedures).
• Conduct training for staff on new processes and tools.
• Monitor and optimize process performance, including yield, cost efficiency and safety.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective/improvement actions.
• Design and deliver production fixtures and tooling within timelines.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with R&D, Production, Quality, Procurement, PMC and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies and ISO requirements.

Job Description:
