Job summary

Dahua Precision Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Process Engineer to join their team and drive product development and manufacturing process improvement. This hands-on opportunity targets a technically capable engineer with an interest in project management, product development, and manufacturing process optimization.

The role offers a monthly salary of RM5,000–RM7,000. You will manage engineering data, develop standards, introduce new products, and refine processes, including BOM

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, production or equivalent.
• Mandarin and English communication skills required.
• Understanding of product process flows to support development.
• Basic knowledge of CNC machining preferred for manufacturing responsibilities.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and use CAD tools (AutoCAD, 3D CAD).
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and positive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering data: establish, maintain, and update product engineering data on time.
• Develop technical standards: prepare and refine technical regs and standards for implementation after approval.
• Introduce new products: support NPI and develop new processes, including BOM prep.
• Improve process documentation: prepare technical docs, standardize flows, implement improvements.
• Resolve technical issues: provide guidance and solutions for product-related matters.
• Maintain documentation: coordinate and maintain documentation across work stages.
• Support early product development: evaluate products, adjust tooling and oversee testing/submissions.
• Prepare operating documents: assist in developing SOPs, SPPs and other docs.
• Complete engineering submissions: prepare FMEA, flowcharts, standards, etc.
• Support operational needs: work overtime when required.

This hands-on opportunity suits a technically capable engineer with a positive mindset and an interest in project management, product development and manufacturing process improvement. The role offers a monthly salary of RM5,000–RM7,000.

What you'll be doing?

• Manage engineering data: Establish, maintain and update product engineering data accurately and on time.
• Develop technical standards: Prepare and refine technical regulations and standards for implementation after approval.
• Introduce new products: Support new product introduction and develop new processes, including BOM preparation.
• Improve process documentation: Prepare technical documents, standardise process flows and implement approved improvements.
• Resolve technical issues: Provide timely guidance, coordination and solutions for product-related technical matters.
• Maintain documentation: Coordinate and maintain documentation throughout all relevant work stages and processes.
• Support early product development: Evaluate products, adjust tooling and inspection fixtures, follow up on testing and manage sample submissions.
• Prepare operating documents: Assist with developing and improving SOP, SPP and other operational documents.
• Complete engineering submissions: Prepare FMEA, flowcharts, general standards and other required materials.
• Support operational needs: Work overtime when required and perform other duties assigned by the superior.

Who are they looking for?

• Relevant experience: Candidates with at least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, production or an equivalent field are encouraged to apply.
• Communication skills: Strong oral and written Mandarin and English skills are required for effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Process knowledge: Understanding of product process flows will support effective process development and improvement.
• CNC knowledge: Basic knowledge of CNC machining processes is preferred for manufacturing-related responsibilities.
• Technical drawing skills: Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and use basic 3D CAD tools and AutoCAD.
• GD&T understanding: Basic knowledge of GD&T is needed to interpret tolerances and functional requirements.
• Adaptability: A positive mindset and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be valued.
