Job summary

Hirehub Group in Senai, Johor, is seeking a Mechanical Process Engineer to design, develop and optimize mechanical systems and tooling for high‑volume production. You will create process documents, train staff, and drive improvements in yield, cost and safety.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing or process engineering, and proficiency with CAD and APQP/FMEA/PPAP methodologies. Teamwork and independent work are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Familiar with APQP, FMEA, PPAP, 8D, PDCA, etc.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement mechanical systems, equipment, and tooling for production.
• Prepare and issue process documents (process flow, work instructions, inspection procedures) and conduct training.
• Monitor and optimize process performance, including first-pass yield, cost efficiency, and safety.
• Troubleshoot process issues and implement timely corrective and improvement actions.
• Design and deliver production fixtures and tooling within required timelines.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Production, Quality, Procurement, PMC) and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and ISO requirements.
