Job summary

PERBENA EMAS SDN BHD is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Supervisor (Mechanical) to support the M&E Engineer in planning, monitoring and controlling daily M&E works across project sites in Malaysia. You will coordinate with M&E subcontractors and other trades to resolve issues and ensure adherence to drawings and specifications.

You will ensure inspections and tests comply with ITPs and quality controls, and participate in inspections, tests and commissioning as required by your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of working experience in building construction-related field.
• Good communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist the M&E Engineer to plan, monitor and control daily M&E works at project sites.
• Perform site coordination between M&E subcontractor works, civil, structural, architectural and other trades.
• Report and discuss with superior any discrepancies in drawings and coordination issues.
• Ensure all M&E works follow drawings, specifications, construction plans and procedures.
• Ensure inspections and tests are carried out per Inspection and Test Plans and meet quality control requirements.
• Attend work inspections, tests and commissioning as instructed by the superior.

Mechanical & Electrical Supervisor (Mechanical)

Assist the M&E Engineer to plan, monitor and control daily M&E works at the project sites.

Perform site coordination between the M&E subcontractor works, civil, structural, architectural and any other trade.

Report and discuss with Superior any discrepancies in drawings and coordination issues.

Ensure that all M&E works carried out are in accordance with the drawings, specifications, construction plans, procedures, work instructions, etc.

Ensure that inspection and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans and that all quality control mechanisms are being used. Results of such to conform to specifications.

Attend work inspection, test and commission as instructed by the superior.

Job Requirements:

Possesses at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.

Candidates with at least 3 years of working experience in building construction-related field would have an added advantage.

Good communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Well-versed in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Computer literacy in Microsoft & familiar with engineering related software – AutoCAD.
