Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in product design, development, or manufacturing environments.
• Competency in technical documentation and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Preferred experience: HDD technology, hydraulic or pneumatic systems, or precision engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software and engineering principles.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical analyses to evaluate project requirements.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, QA, and project management to ensure project delivery.
• Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and prototypes.
• Optimise existing designs and processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and assembly teams.
• Maintain detailed project records and documentation.
