Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineer to design and develop new products for existing or new customers in a structured timeline. You will create and refine concepts using CAD tools and contribute to the development of design specifications, parts lists, and costings.

The role involves testing concepts through computer modelling or hands-on experiments, preparing prototypes, and evaluating materials for suitability and availability, while collaborating in a team to meet

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in mechanical/mechatronic Engineering.
Proficiency with CAD software and programming.
Knowledge of design and testing processes.
Experience with prototype development and materials selection.
Experience with DFMEA, DFx, DoE, GD&T, MSA is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design and develop new products for existing or new customers within schedule.
Brainstorming as part of a team or developing design concepts using CAD.
Producing design specifications, including parts lists and costings.
Testing the design concept by computerised modelling or physical hands-on testing of models.
Prepare prototype or working models.
Identifying the suitability and availability of materials.
