Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply; prior experience is an advantage.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical engineering work including design, calculations, testing and problem solving.
• Develop mechanical designs and 3D models for equipment and assemblies.
• Prepare fabrication drawings, assembly drawings and engineering documentation.
• Prepare and maintain as-built drawings based on actual fabrication or installation.
• Review designs for manufacturability, material usage, fabrication methods, cost, functionality and ease of assembly.
• Coordinate assigned engineering projects including drawings, documentation and progress.
• Work with fabrication teams to ensure products are manufactured per design intent.
• Support product development and improvement of mechanical equipment and methods.
• Inspect and test equipment to verify dimensions, quality, functionality and performance.
