Job summary

Tay Tool Engineering Works Sdn Bhd in Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on CAD expertise to design mechanical equipment.

You will develop 3D models, drawings and BOM, evaluate manufacturability, and support production and sales with technical proposals; on-site client support may be required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
• Diploma or degree in engineering.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in SolidEdge or SolidWorks and other 3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare part designs using 3D software (SolidEdge) and meet customer requirements.
• Develop conceptual proposals and design specifications for customer requests and support Sales.
• Evaluate designs against customer expectations, including process flow and assembly.
• Generate detailed drawings and BOM for Production.
• Material selection, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability.
• Lead mechanical parts and assembly work based on the design.
• Attend client sites for on-site support as needed.

Tay Tool Engineering Works Sdn Bhd – Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor

We are an engineering company specialized in Mechanical Design, CNC Machining and Fabrication locate in Telok Panglima Garang / Jenjarom, Selangor is looking for candidates for position of Mechanical Design Engineer.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of working experience in relevant mechanical design fields.

Possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Engineering

Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.

Proficiency in SolidEdge / Solid Works or others 3D modeling, assembly, and detailing software

Job Responsibilities:

To prepare the part design of mechanical equipment using 3D software (SolidEdge), experience with Solidworks, Inventor and other 3D simulation software to meet customer requirements.

To develop conceptual proposal and design specification according to Customer's request and able to support to the Sales department.

To evaluate and ensure the design specification is meeting up to the expectation by customer including the process flow and assembly process

To generate detailed drawings and assembly drawings for Production Department with preparing Bill of Materials (BOM)

To conduct for the materials selection, technical tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability.

To lead for mechanical parts and assembly works based on the design.

Able to attend to Clients' factory for on-site support if there are any mechanical related requirement.
