We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible to understand and apply design standards, processes and tools, including Solidworks, NX9, Agile, Oracle system. This will be demonstrated by successfully completing two medium level complexity projects per week.

Impact You Will Make

• Designs products and systems to meet process requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
• Selects or designs tools to meet specifications, using manuals, drafting tools, computer, and specialized software programs.
• Specifies system components or directs modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
• Develops models of alternate processing methods to test feasibility or new applications of system components, and recommends implementation of procedures.
• Inspects and evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications to eliminate product malfunctions.
• Investigates equipment failures and difficulties, diagnoses faulty operation, and makes recommendations.
• Alters or modifies design to obtain specified functional and operational performance.
• Researches and analyzes data, such as international customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
• Determines parts supply, maintenance tasks, safety procedures, and service schedule required to maintain machines and equipment in prescribed condition.
• Any other tasks as assigned by superior.

Our Ideal Candidate

Education: Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering.

Work Experience: 2+ years experience in mechanical engineering or industry related.

Skills / Aptitude: CAD Software (SolidWorks preferred), Microsoft Applications, Ability to communicate in English with co-worker and customers via emails and phone.

Provide accurate reporting

Engineering focused, understanding complex mechanical assemblies, drawings & geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.

CAD Software (Unigraphics NX9 & Agile-Oracle) as well as Solidworks preferred - primary design tool will be Solidworks & Agile-Oracle.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Power point, Word mainly)
