Job summary

Cohu Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Human Resources Assistant Manager/Manager to drive HR excellence across talent development, employee lifecycle management, compliance, and strategic initiatives.

You will lead end-to-end HR operations and enable organizational growth in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Good knowledge of HR operations, learning and development, compliance, audits, and HR project management.
• Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, or multinational environment preferred.
• Experience supporting ISO, RBA, customer, or regulatory audits is highly preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HR operations and employee lifecycle management, ensuring excellence, compliance and employee-centric service delivery.
• Lead Training Needs Analysis (TNA), learning and development, leadership development, succession planning and workforce capability initiatives, plus HRDC compliance.
• Coach and develop HR team capabilities through knowledge sharing and cross-training.
• Lead HR compliance, governance, ISO/RBA audits, CAPA management and data privacy initiatives.
• Drive HR transformation, digitalization, process improvement and organizational development initiatives.
• Deliver HR analytics, reporting, workforce planning insights and recommendations.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders and lead strategic HR projects and initiatives.
