Job summary

Top-Mech Provincial Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance and servicing on mobile cranes, both at workshop and on-site locations. You will diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic faults, and repair components such as engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience with mobile cranes or heavy machinery, knowledge of hydraulic/electrical/diesel systems, and the ability to work

Qualifications

Minimum 2–5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of mobile cranes, heavy machinery, or construction equipment.
Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems.
Valid driving licence (preferred).
Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing on mobile cranes.
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
Repair and replace defective components, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic pumps, cylinders, hoses, and braking systems.
Conduct inspections and troubleshoot crane breakdowns at workshop or site locations.
Maintain and repair crane boom systems, winches, hoists, outriggers, and lifting mechanisms.
Perform routine checks on hydraulic systems, lubricants, filters, and fluid levels.
Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Test equipment after repairs to verify proper operation and safety.
Complete maintenance reports, service records, and inspection checklists.
Coordinate with crane operators and supervisors regarding equipment condition and repair requirements.
Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop cleanliness.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and carry out field service repairs when required.
Follow company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
