Job summary

Grolite Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Fleet Maintenance Technician to coordinate repair schedules and optimize uptime across the company fleet. You will support both planned maintenance and emergency repairs, ensuring parts are sourced, inspections are conducted, and records are accurately maintained.

The role requires you to work effectively in a team and independently, performing diagnostics, safety checks, and routine servicing while keeping the workspace organized and compliant with safety

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Supervisor on fleet arrangement to optimize repair schedules and minimize downtime.
• Support Group's fleets by performing maintenance services/emergency repair for breakdown fleets within the specified time frame to improve utilization rate.
• Liaise with the store department to obtain required components.
• Carry out routine vehicle inspections, testing and safety checks.
• Document and maintain records of service work carried out on fleets.
• Maintain and organize tools, equipment and manuals.
• Ensure work areas and tools are kept tidy and in good working order.
• Work in a team and independently.
• Diagnose causes of vehicle problems and keep abreast of improvements record.
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
