Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is seeking a Unit Manager responsible for directing nursing services, overseeing clinical care standards, audits, teaching and research, and ensuring safe, efficient patient experiences even after hours.

You will lead organizational development, work with doctors and departments, manage budgets, review policies, and drive quality improvement, infection control, and patient safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Nursing and current state registration.
• Post basic midwifery qualification is an asset.
• Desirable neonatal resuscitation certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide high standard of nursing care in a safe, effective, and caring manner across the unit.
• Direct and coordinate nursing services and supervise staff within the facility.
• Lead governance activities, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in Head of Service meetings and hospital committees to align goals.
• Manage documentation, budgets, and partnership with consultants/different departments.
