Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad seeks a seasoned Nursing Unit Manager to supervise nursing staff, ensure safe patient care, and drive quality improvements across units. The role requires directing services, coordinating with physicians, and leading audits to meet national standards.

The incumbent will mentor nurses, manage ongoing training, and participate in hospital committees. A Malaysia-registered nurse with 8+ years of clinical experience is preferred, with strong English and Bahasa Malaysia

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a valid practicing license in Malaysia.
• Bachelor of Nursing or higher; Post Basic qualification as required within 2 years of promotion.
• 8+ years of clinical nursing experience with diverse clinical exposure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficient, compassionate patient care within the ward or unit.
• Organize, direct and coordinate nursing services and staff with other departments.
• Lead continuous quality improvement through audits and compliance with standards.
• Plan, implement and evaluate nursing facilities and services; manage staff meetings and committees.
• Oversee charging processes for nursing services and ensure accurate patient charges.
