Job summary

Prysmian Australia is seeking a Materials Research and Development Operator to conduct material and cable testing in the laboratory and to prepare detailed reports on test results. You will support the Lab Engineer and participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT) as required.

The role requires a Certificate or Diploma in a related field, 2–3 years of clerical and technical experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a safety-conscious

Qualifications

• Minimum of Certificate or Diploma in related fields.
• 2 to 3 years clerical & technical working experience.
• Preferred to have electrical related field for fire testing laboratory.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• To conduct material and cable testing as well as analysis in the laboratory.
• To prepare reports on the material and cable test result.
• To assist Lab Engineer to carry out work-related tasks given.
• Assisting in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).
• To maintain laboratory tidiness and cleanliness, safety plan and associated records.
