Job summary

TE Connectivity Penang is seeking an R&D/PRODUCT DVL ENGINEER II to support product qualification, review test data and maintain NPI documentation on the shop floor. You will coordinate requirements with the USA bulk cable engineering team and DG engineering and help ensure compliant mass production during NPI and product transfers.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's or Master’s in science or technology, 3+ years in cable design, AutoCAD hands-on experience, and strong communication and

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in science or technology.
3 years min working experience in cable design.
ASIC knowledge about cable design and cable standards.
Familiar with AutoCAD.
Good communication, integrity, accountability and passion; can work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Coordinate requirements with USA bulk cable engineering teams and DG engineering teams to understand development requirements and support Penang SAP system from engineering.
Update and manage NPI documents, including SOPs, CPs, and test plans.
Review physical and SI test data, analyze the failure items.
Coordinate trouble shooting/problem solving during NPI/Product Duplication/Transfer and sustain mass production with PQE and production teams.
