Prysmian Australia in Malaysia is seeking a warehouse/production associate to support the production line, transport materials, and operate equipment according to approved procedures. The role requires a basic education, 1 year of related experience, strong mechanical aptitude, safety awareness, and the ability to maintain inventory and quality standards.
Training on ERP and packaging practices will be provided.
Understand, accept, and comply with the related HSE responsibility commitment as part of daily work.
-- Transport materials to the production line for processing in accordance with the approved warehouse control methods and follow work procedures to load onto payout equipment.
-- When processing handrail, belts, cable, compensation or other components, operate moderately complex machines and electric tools.
-- Utilize knives and other hand tools to precisely complete endless loop of handrails by following approved procedures.
-- To change handrail molding and other equipment on the production line.
-- Ensure finished good meets customer requirements through proper inspection methods as outlined in procedures.
-- Maintain the equipment in accordance with the preventive maintenance procedures.
-- Maintain warehouse inventory accuracy through labels and calculate material differences.
-- Maintain a clean and orderly working environment to ensure that the production process operates effectively and the products are flawless.
-- Complete specific projects in the manufacturing area as required.
-- Pack all completed parts in accordance with the approved packaging methods and standards.
-- Update work order status of production orders in ERP system.
-- Complete all necessary logistics actions to ship products to the customers.
-- Complete annual inventory count activities.
