Job summary

Talent Trader Group in Kulai, Johor, Malaysia is seeking a Material Control Engineer (Logistics/Packaging) to drive packaging engineering, optimize shop-floor material flow, design warehouse layouts and support automation projects. You will use AutoCAD, data analytics tools, and lean methods to maximize space, throughput, and compliance across the plant.

Responsibilities include designing protective packaging, conducting tests, applying Lean principles, planning automation, and ensuring safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field related to industrial engineering or logistics.
• Proven track record in packaging design, plant logistics, or industrial engineering.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD (2D), Excel and data visualization tools.
• Strong understanding of intralogistics, material supermarkets and EHS/compliance.

Responsibilities

• Packaging engineering and testing for protective packaging of materials.
• Layout optimization and material flow engineering to improve throughput.
• Automation project planning for AGVs, conveyors and WMS integration.
• Regulatory compliance and safety standards for warehouse layouts.
