Job summary
Jora Malaysia is seeking a Material Planning Specialist to oversee project material management plans and ensure on-time delivery against engineering timelines.
You will partner with project management and technical teams to align procurement with release dates, manage pre-order readiness, tracking, expediting, and coordinate inbound logistics, customs clearance, and warehouse staging while monitoring supplier performance.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years in material planning, production control, or project supply chain.
- Experience in energy, chemicals, or automation sectors.
- Experience with tier-1 ERP systems, BOM management, and inventory tracking.
- Strong expediting and international logistics coordination.
Responsibilities
- Oversee project material management plans to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate procurement schedules with engineering release dates.
- Manage pre-order readiness, tracking, and post-order expediting.
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics, customs clearance, and warehouse staging.

As a Material Planning Specialist, you will oversee project material management plans to ensure on-time delivery against engineering timelines.
Partner with project management and technical teams to align procurement schedules with engineering release dates.
Manage pre-order readiness, material tracking, and post-order expediting to prevent project delays.
Coordinate end-to-end logistics, customs clearance, and warehouse staging for inbound components.
Maintain comprehensive tracking systems to evaluate vendor delivery performance and identify operational risks.
Assess the material impact of engineering change orders and update procurement lead times accordingly.
Minimum three to five years of experience in material planning, production control, or project supply chain execution.
Practical exposure to industrial manufacturing sectors such as energy, chemicals, or automation integration.
Applied knowledge of tier-1 ERP systems, inventory tracking, and bill of materials management.
Strong background in expediting open orders and coordinating international logistics workflows.
Tertiary qualification in engineering, supply chain management, or a matching field.
The successful candidate will be reporting to supply chain leader.
