Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Associate to oversee daily warehouse activities, ensure accurate stock receiving, and guarantee timely delivery to the relevant departments. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate should have at least a certificate in Logistics or Warehousing, one year experience in logistics, and basic English and Bahasa Malaysia skills.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least SPM / certificate in Logistics / Warehousing / Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• At least 1 year work experience in Logistic / Warehousing / Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia at elementary level in oral and writing; basic communication in English preferred.
• Knowledge in Safety and Health Standards; ISO 9001 knowledge is a plus.
• Must be able to operate power forklift, crane, hand trucks and pallets.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall warehouse activities.
• Accurate physical receiving of materials and delivery to proper department.
• Ensure fast, accurate and timely stock picking / distribution.
• Maintain records and documentation for stock levels and inventory control.
• Perform monthly random stock counts and yearly full stock counts.
• Coordinate material issuing / transferring between locations.
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report issues.
• Promote a safe, clean and organized workspace per 5S guidelines.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.

• Responsible on overall warehouse activities
• Accurate physical receiving of materials / products and insures delivery of materials / products to proper department

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

• Ensure fast, accurate and timely stock picking / distribution activities
• Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
• Perform Monthly random stock count and yearly full stock count with documented record
• Perform material issuing / transferring in a timely manner upon requisition and planning schedule
• Able to perform loading and unloading materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, shelves and trucks
• Ensuring the shipping / internal transfer documents complies with the goods receive and issuing
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report to superior
• To promote a safety & conductive work environment adhere to 5s requirements; Reporting any unsafe equipment and ensuring it is rectified before further use
• To remove and suitably dispose of any excess packaging waste regularly from workspace to always maintain clear and efficient workspaces
• Required to coordinate and work closely with other teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations
• Complete ad-hoc task assigned by reporting superior / manager
• Perform material issuing / transferring from location to location in a timely manner

Work experience and education requirements

• Candidate must possess at least SPM / certificate in Logistic / Warehousing / Supply Chain Management or any equivalent
• At least 1 year work experience in Logistic / Warehousing / Supply Chain Management or any equivalent
• Elementary level in English and Bahasa Malaysia in oral and writing
• Preferably good communication and writing skills in English, other languages are an advantage
• Preferably knowledge in Safety and Health Standards
• Possess knowledge and experience In ISO 9001
• Must be able to operate power forklift, crane, hand trucks, small tools and pallets
