Job summary

Hirehub Group is seeking a Material Planner to oversee material planning, procurement coordination, and inventory control for projects and operations at our Iskandar Puteri facility. You will forecast demand, select suppliers, and ensure timely material supply to meet project needs.

The role requires a diploma or higher in engineering or supply chain with at least 3 years in material control, and familiarity with SAP/Oracle and logistics tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in material control.
• Familiar with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) and inventory/logistics management tools.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high sense of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage material procurement plans based on demand forecasts, including quantity, timeline, and supplier selection
• Monitor and control inventory, including goods receipt, issuance, and stock accuracy
• Analyze material requirements from production and project teams to ensure sufficient supply
• Track material movement (logistics, inbound/outbound, and stock levels) to ensure timely delivery and efficient utilization
• Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to maintain smooth material flow
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure materials meet required standards

Job Summary:

Responsible for material planning, procurement coordination, tracking, and inventory control to ensure timely and accurate supply of materials in support of project and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
