Job summary

DFI Retail Group in Malaysia seeks a skilled professional to coordinate Customer Engagement Platform integrations, validate data flows, and ensure readiness for SIT, UAT, performance testing, cutover and production deployment.

You will partner with Architecture, Engineering and business teams to ensure API contracts, data mapping and governance, support L2 incident resolution, and help deliver reliable customer experiences across retail banners.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience in systems integration, APIs, or data platforms.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, JSON/XML, event-driven architecture, and batch integrations.
Experience with API testing and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Postman) and writing SQL queries for validation.
Familiarity with API Gateways, middleware, microservices, and cloud-based integration architectures is a plus.
Experience supporting SIT, UAT, production deployments, and L2 support in an Agile environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Knowledge of retail, loyalty, customer engagement, or digital commerce platforms is desirable.

Responsibilities

Coordinate integration planning and delivery for the Customer Engagement Platform (CEP).
Validate interface specifications, API contracts, event flows, and data mappings.
Assess integration dependencies and engage Architecture and Engineering teams.
Coordinate L2 incident resolution and data quality improvements.
Support SIT, UAT, performance tests, cutover, and production validation.
Work with Enterprise Architecture, Middleware, Data Engineering, and other teams.
Ensure governance, naming conventions, and data integration standards across banners.
