Job summary

NEOSCIENCE SDN. BHD. is seeking a Marketing Team Lead to drive growth through product portfolio expansion and market development. The role aligns marketing with sales and business objectives, strengthens brand visibility, and improves lead quality.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, leading the marketing team, managing campaigns and events, coordinating with product and sales, and monitoring budgets and ROI. Travel and own transport are expected as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Mass Communication, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Life Science or related field.
• 4–6 years of marketing experience with proven team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: develop annual/quarterly plans, analyze markets, set marketing KPIs.
• Leadership & Team Management: mentor team, delegate, review performance.
• Campaign & Brand Management: manage digital campaigns, events, product launches.
• Sales & Cross-Department Alignment: support sales with collateral and positioning, cross-team collaboration.
• Budget & Performance Monitoring: manage budget, track ROI, report to management.

Job description

The Marketing Team Lead plays a key role in driving the company’s growth through product portfolio expansion and market development. This role is responsible for aligning marketing strategies with sales and business objectives, strengthening brand visibility, improving lead quality, and driving team performance and efficiency.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning: Develop annual and quarterly marketing plans, conduct market and competitor analysis, and set and monitor marketing KPIs.

2. Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor marketing team members, delegate tasks, ensure accountability, and conduct regular performance reviews.

3. Campaign & Brand Management: Oversee digital marketing campaigns, events, exhibitions, and product launches; ensure brand consistency and optimize campaign performance.

4. Sales & Cross-Department Alignment: Support sales with marketing materials, presentations, and product positioning; align marketing initiatives with sales goals and facilitate collaboration across product, sales, and management teams.

5. Budget & Performance Monitoring: Manage the marketing budget effectively, track ROI and key performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management.

Job Requirements

At least Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Mass Communication, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Life Science, or a related field.

Candidates with a science background will be an added advantage.

4–6 years of marketing experience, with proven team leadership experience.

Strong understanding of marketing strategy, campaigns, and digital marketing channels.

Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage projects, budgets, and team performance effectively.

Have own transport and willingness to travel and support events when required.
