Job summary

SmartMaster, a leading men’s wear retailer in Malaysia, seeks a dynamic Marketing Manager to plan, develop and execute integrated campaigns across retail channels. You will drive festive promotions, new product launches and digital initiatives to boost brand awareness and sales.

The role requires 5+ years in marketing, strong leadership, and ability to coordinate with Sales, Retail Operations and external vendors. Experience in apparel retail is preferred and a passion for fashion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
• Manage festive campaigns, seasonal promotions and product launches.
• Oversee social media platforms to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
• Coordinate development of marketing content and promotional materials.
• Monitor campaign performance and optimize results.
• Manage marketing budgets and external vendors.
• Lead and supervise the marketing team.
• Plan roadshows, exhibitions and events to drive brand awareness and sales.

Job description

Plan, develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotional activities to support the Company's business objectives.

Manage festive campaigns, seasonal promotions and new product launches in collaboration with Sales and Retail Operations teams.

Oversee the Company's social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, to enhance brand awareness and customer engagement.

Coordinate the development of marketing content, advertising materials and promotional campaigns.

Monitor marketing campaign performance and recommend improvements to achieve better results.

Manage marketing budgets, advertising expenditure and external marketing vendors.

Lead and supervise the marketing team to ensure effective execution of marketing activities.

Monitor market trends, competitors' promotional activities and customer responses to identify marketing opportunities.

Plan, manage and execute roadshows, exhibitions and promotional events, including overall coordination, logistics, manpower arrangements and on-site execution to drive brand awareness, customer engagement and sales.

Able to drive leads Marketing and E-commerce channels via various effective, interesting and creative digital campaigns to drive sales and consumer engagements.

Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth coordination and implementation of marketing campaigns.

Perform other marketing-related duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:

Preferably with a Diploma/Degree in Marketing/Mass Communication.

Minimum 5 years’ experience; background in retail apparel is strongly preferred.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive business growth and increase brand awareness.

Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.

Able to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple deadlines.
