Job summary

Hume Cement Sdn Bhd is seeking a Marketing Manager to develop and execute strategies to promote our cement products. You will conduct market research, oversee campaigns, and lead the marketing team to strengthen our market position.

The role involves coordinating with sales, technical and logistics teams, managing budgets, and enhancing our digital presence through AI-enabled tools. Location: Malaysia, with regular industry events participation.

Job description

• Developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote and sell cement products..
• Conducting market research to understand industry trends, customer needs and competitor activities, leveraging AI tools where relevant for market insights and analysis.
• Developing strategies to position the Company’s cement products effectively in the market.
• Planning, managing and monitoring the effectiveness of marketing activities and campaigns.
• Utilizing social media and AI-enabled digital tools to enhance content creation, audience engagement and the Company’s online presence.
• Participating in industry-related events, trade shows and exhibitions to showcase products, network with potential clients and stay updated on industry developments.
• Developing and managing marketing budgets to ensure cost-effective strategies and activities.
• Exploring and adopting AI tools to improve marketing efficiency, productivity, content development and reporting.
• Leading and inspiring the internal team to achieve brand and marketing goals.

Managerial (Team/Group Responsibilities):

• Collaborate with the sales, technical & logistics team to provide support in promotional activities / campaigns.
• Act on behalf of the company in all the social media marketing communication.
• Govern the usage of the corporate logos / signages for internal and external use.

Organisational (Organisational Responsibilities):

• Report to the Head of Department
• 5S – adherence and participation in 5S activities
