Job summary

Sime Darby Auto ConneXion Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Executive, Marketing Events & Activations to plan, coordinate, and execute customer-facing activations that boost brand awareness, lead generation, and sales.

You will lead roadshows, owner programmes, and lifestyle events, manage fleet and logistics, work with dealers, vendors, and partners, and ensure timely, on-budget delivery with strong post-event analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in marketing, events, activations or related functions.
• Experience coordinating events, roadshows, exhibitions, or promotions.
• Automotive industry experience is an advantage.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel and work outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute mall roadshows, outdoor sales events, product showcases, and customer engagement activities.
• Coordinate event timelines, venue requirements, permits, logistics, suppliers, and operational needs.
• Ensure successful setup, execution, and dismantling of all marketing activations.
• Work closely with sales teams to achieve event objectives and lead-generation targets.
• Coordinate event staffing, promotional materials, merchandise, and vehicle display requirements.
• Manage event budgets and track event expenditures.
