Job summary

Mayang Holdings (EV) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive Marketing Executive to support offline marketing for its automotive dealership in Kulai, Johor. You will plan and execute showroom events, roadshows and product launches, coordinating with malls, vendors and internal teams.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with a willingness to travel and work on some weekends for events. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Event Management or a related field.
• Experience in event coordination, roadshows, brand activation or offline marketing is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and coordination skills.
• Creative, responsible, organised and detail-oriented.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work within tight deadlines.
• Willing to work on selected weekends or public holidays for events and roadshows.
• Willing to travel for marketing activities when required.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; basic knowledge of Canva is an added advantage.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute showroom events, roadshows, exhibitions, product launches and other on-ground marketing activities.
• Manage event preparation from planning and vendor sourcing to setup, execution and post-event reporting.
• Coordinate with shopping malls, event organisers, vendors, business partners, agencies and internal teams.
• Source quotations, negotiate with suppliers and monitor event expenses according to the approved budget.
• Prepare event proposals, timelines, checklists, staff schedules and marketing reports.
• Arrange promotional materials such as banners, buntings, brochures, merchandise, gifts and showroom decorations.
