About the role

We are seeking a talented Marketing Business Development Training professional to join MW INFINITY in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving our marketing initiatives and business growth through strategic training and development programmes. In this role, you will bridge the gap between marketing strategy and practical implementation, ensuring that our teams are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in an increasingly competitive marketplace. You will be instrumental in shaping how our organisation approaches marketing communications and business development, directly contributing to our overall success and market positioning.

Key responsibilities

Design and deliver comprehensive marketing and business development training programmes tailored to the needs of internal teams and external stakeholders

Develop training materials, resources and curricula that align with current marketing best practices and industry standards

Identify skill gaps within the marketing and business development teams and create targeted learning solutions to address them

Conduct workshops, seminars and coaching sessions to enhance team capabilities in areas such as digital marketing, client engagement and sales enablement

Collaborate with senior marketing leaders and business development managers to understand strategic objectives and translate them into effective training initiatives

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through assessments and feedback mechanisms, making continuous improvements

Stay current with emerging trends, tools and technologies in marketing communications and business development

Support the development of training budgets and manage the delivery of training projects within established timelines and financial parameters

Mentor and support junior team members involved in training delivery and programme administration

What we're looking for

Proven experience in marketing training, instructional design or business development training roles, preferably within a corporate or agency environment

Strong understanding of marketing communications principles, digital marketing channels and business development strategies

Excellent training delivery and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences and adapt content for different learning styles

Demonstrated expertise in developing training materials and using learning management systems or training platforms

Strong project management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Malay or other regional languages is advantageous

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Education or a related field

Relevant professional certifications such as CIPD, Training and Development, or similar qualifications are highly desirable

Creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach to identifying training needs

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across all organisational levels
