Job summary

MEP Enviro Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Marketing Assistant Manager / Senior Executive to oversee marketing activities and support sales and business development initiatives in Penang, Malaysia.

The role involves planning and implementing strategies, managing customer relationships, preparing quotations and proposals, conducting market analyses, and identifying new business opportunities. Travel may be required; English and Mandarin skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business/Communications or the equivalent.
• Ability to engage customers maturely and address objections confidently.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel for work.
• Excellent in problem solving, aggressive and perseverance.
• Strong English communication skills; proficiency in Mandarin is required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking teams or partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire marketing department activities.
• Plan and implement marketing strategies, campaigns and promotional activities.
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitors and etc.
• Monitor marketing performance and prepare reports for Management.
• Prepare quotations, costing analysis, and business proposals with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Perform calculations, pricing analysis, and data evaluation for trading and sales activities.
• Attend sales enquires, preparation and follow up on quotation and customers feedback.
• Monitors competitor products/services, sales and marketing activities.
• Maintain good and strong relationship with clients.
• Assist in developing new marketing opportunities and supporting business development activities.
• Maintaining good relationship with existing customers and suppliers.
• Assist in supervising and guiding junior marketing staff, where applicable.
• Perform other marketing-related duties and ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management.
