Job summary

MEP Group of Companies in Penang seeks a Marketing Assistant Manager / Senior Executive to oversee marketing activities and support sales and business development. You will plan and implement strategies, manage relationships with clients and suppliers, and prepare quotations and proposals.

You will conduct market analysis, identify opportunities, monitor performance, and collaborate with management and internal teams to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business/Communications or equivalent.
• Ability to engage customers maturely and address objections confidently.
• Willing to travel and have own transport.
• Strong English communication; Mandarin with teams/partners is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all marketing department activities.
• Plan and implement marketing strategies, campaigns and promotional activities.
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitors and etc.
• Monitor marketing performance and prepare reports for Management.
• Prepare quotations, costing analysis, and business proposals with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Perform calculations, pricing analysis, and data evaluation for trading and sales activities.
• Attend sales inquiries, preparation and follow up on quotation and customers feedback.
• Monitors competitor products/services, sales and marketing activities.
• Maintain good and strong relationship with clients.
• Assist in developing new marketing opportunities and supporting business development activities.
• Maintaining good relationship with existing customers and suppliers.
• Assist in supervising and guiding junior marketing staff, where applicable.
• Perform other marketing-related duties and ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management.
