• Set up solder paste printers, pick-and-place machines, SPI, AOI and reflow ovens.
• Diagnose and correct SMT line issues such as misalignment and solder bridging.
• Review SPI/AOI results and take corrective actions.
• Conduct routine cleaning and calibration of equipment.

Responsibilities

• 1. SMT Line Setup
• Set up solder paste printers, pick-and-place machines, SPI, AOI and reflow ovens.
• Load feeders, components, materials and perform verification process
• Perform program loading and alignment checks
• Manage change over and first article verification
• Monitor machine performance and ensure stable production flow.2.Troubleshooting & Process Control
• Diagnose and correct issues such as misalignment, tombstoning, solder bridging and missing components.
• Troubleshoot feeder faults, nozzle problems, vacuum issues and machine errors.
• Optimize printing parameters, placement accuracy, and reflow temperature profiles.
• Support continuous improvement of SMT processes.
• Quality Control
• Review SPI/AOI results and take corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 and internal quality standards.
• Documentation of defects and assist in root-cause analysis activity.
• Preventive Maintenance
• Conduct routine cleaning and calibration.
• Maintain nozzles and feeders to reduce downtime.
• Record all maintenance activities following SOPs.
