TE Connectivity Corporation in Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production operations, equipment set-up, calibration, testing and preventative maintenance. The role requires performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical systems.

You will train junior techs and ensure adherence to safety standards. The position demands shift flexibility (7am–7pm) with OT availability, good communication, and solid mechanical

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years experience in production/maintenance as technician.
• Able to work shift (7am–7pm) and support OT if needed.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must have good or corrected eyesight to ensure quality of work.
• Ability to lift and carry 25 kg frequently.
• Ability to crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work at various heights.
• Good basic math skills.
• Attention to detail and target oriented.
• Good mechanical aptitude, and troubleshooting ability.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Perform evaluations and analyze unique problems new to equipment.
• Perform predictive maintenance by analyzing routine failures and determining adjustments and repairs.
• Train lower level maintenance techs on troubleshooting and repair techniques.
• Perform specified preventative maintenance on production equipment to prevent downtime.
• Monitor equipment operations to ensure proper usage.
• Construct and/or assemble new equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and repair as needed.
• Perform Lock Out / Tag Out requirements.
• Work from blueprints, manuals, sketches and verbal instructions.
• Assist with repairing hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business conditions.
• Adhere to quality and safety systems.
