Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. seeks a Maintenance Technician to support assembly and upkeep of production equipment in our Penang facility. You will set up, calibrate, test, and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

With 2+ years of related experience and a high school diploma, you will troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical systems, read blueprints, and work safely to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years of related maintenance work experience.
• High school diploma required; AA degree preferred.
• Must be able to lift and carry 25 kg frequently.
• Ability to read blueprints, manuals and sketches.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and analyze problems new to equipment.
• Perform predictive maintenance by analyzing routine failures and determining repairs.
• Train lower level maintenance techs on troubleshooting techniques.
• Perform specified preventative maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Monitor equipment operations to ensure proper usage.
• Construct and/or assemble new equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and repair as needed.
• Adhere to quality and safety systems and standards.
