Job summary

TE Connectivity Manufacturing Malaysia is seeking a maintenance-oriented technician to monitor machine performance and carry out preventive maintenance on site. You will troubleshoot equipment, request setups and repairs through the tool room, and coordinate with area leads to ensure smooth production flow.

You will write labor tickets and production reports, assist operators, and uphold safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

Must provide own tools.
Mechanical aptitude is essential for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Good organizational and communication skills are required to coordinate with teams.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is needed to meet production demands.
Good or corrected eyesight is necessary to ensure quality of work.

Responsibilities

Monitor machinery performance and perform basic preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot machines and modify as needed.
Coordinate setups and maintenance through the tool room and area lead.
Request repairs from the maintenance department and document work.
Write labor tickets and production reports; report safety or quality concerns to supervisor.
Assist operators and other staff to meet job requirements.
Adhere to safety, quality, and housekeeping rules; perform other duties as assigned.
