Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. in Malaysia's Penang is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production by performing setup, calibration, testing, and routine maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

You will troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems, read blueprints, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. The role requires independent work, good communication, and physical ability to lift 25 kg.

Qualifications

• Requires 3–4 years or more of related work experience.
• Completion of an AA degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in manufacturing and assembling products per facility processes.
• Set-up, calibration, testing, maintenance and production operation of equipment.
• Perform predictive maintenance and monitor equipment to prevent downtime.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and repair as needed.
• Follow Lock Out / Tag Out safety procedures and work from blueprints or manuals.
