Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. in Malaysia is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support production operations by maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth flow with minimal downtime.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance to resolve issues. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Certificate in Electronics/ Electrical/Mechatronics and 2+ years in maintenance or electronics manufacturing, with hands-on PCB and tester experience, and strong

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in electronics/electrical/mechatronics manufacturing.
2+ years in maintenance, test, calibration, or electronics manufacturing environments.
Hands-on PCB replacement and tester recovery experience.
Basic understanding of electronic circuits and test systems.
Good problem-solving and ability to work independently in production.
Fluent Malay and English communication.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot production equipment, testers, jigs, and fixtures.
Diagnose and resolve equipment-related issues to minimize downtime.
Replace PCB boards during tester failures and verify tester functionality.
Support tester recovery activities and coordinate with engineers on hardware failures.
Assist in equipment setup, qualification, calibration, and changeover activities.
Monitor equipment performance and elevate recurring issues for root cause analysis.
Maintain maintenance records, repair logs, and spare parts inventory.
Support continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
